San Juan del Sur was a fishing port, small and quiet. Today is the maintourist destination on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. Located in the department of Rivas, 141 kilometers from the capital Managua. It has an areaof 411 square kilometers. The climate of San Juan del Sur is tropical savannaand its average temperature is 27 degrees Celsius. San Juan del Sur has theutilities ELECTRICITY, WATER, TRANSPORT, INTERNET, TELEPHONEAND CABLE TELEVISION. Is also a post office in Nicaragua, a library and banks such as BDF, BAC and Bancentro. While in San Juan del Surpredominantly Catholic, there is only one local parish and severalevangelical churches.
