Description

Welcome to San Juan del Sur Day School, established in 2009 as a high quality English preschool. Since then we have grown into a full service elementary school educating a diverse Nicaraguan and expatriate student body of children ages 18 months to 12 years. We provide our students with engaging, challenging, and educational opportunities at all stages of development. We create a learning environment in which children are safe to make decisions, exchange ideas, share feelings, and gain a degree of autonomy. Our school helps children develop that enduring love of learning that will allow them to be successful in any setting.

Escuela San Juan del Sur is a school accredited by Nicaragua through MINED (Ministry of Education of Nicaragua).

Mission
Our mission here at San Juan del Sur Day School is to develop caring, knowledgeable and compassionate young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through understanding and respect. SJdS Day School encourages students to become lifelong, caring citizens through a curriculum designed for inquiry, critical thinking, open-mindedness, cultural understanding, and sustainability.
